About Me: Working as a Marketing & Consulting agency that’s where my interpersonal skills were developed and strengthened. I have over twenty-five years experience in various administrative, marketing, and consulting functions in both the public/private sector.

Expertise in hands on community outreach, non-profit development, and public events.

I have a strong foundation in public service.

Extensive knowledge and in-depth understanding in organizing community committees. Worked with at least 25 non-profit organizations, funded developments, program enhancements with emphasis on leadership skills and entrepreneurship for several organizations and companies.

Excellent interpersonal communication skills; work well with the media. Strong leadership ability and good people relation skills.

I have developed and the founder of Texas Teen Summit an organization of The United Black Fund. Developed to encourage, assist, and mentor youth (Adopt-A-Senior program).

My Organization(s): Since its inception in 2008, the Maxey House has been a supportive housing program for young women in transition towards a better life. At Maxey House, each woman has her own living space, participates in individual and group therapy, counseling and job search. This is only possible because of thoughtful contributions from people like you. Each woman is allowed to remain in the program for 6 months to one year, until she is ready to complete her evolution to independent living.
In Spring 2009, we plan to open another house to accommodate more women. After Channel 11 aired the program, we received numerous calls to assist more young ladies. As you know, the cost of running the Maxey House does not go away. We hope for your continued support in the future.
