About Me: D-Town Records is an extremely fresh but experienced private record label. Based on our infrastructure and artist roster, the label is flexible to the constant shifts in pop culture. We provide the necessary financial, professional, and directional support for our artists and new talent we find in the Rap, R&B, Hip-Hop and Pop Music Industry. Artists’ need that support to help them get recognized by the listening public. D-Town Records has several up and coming artists whose talents range in Rap, R&B, Hip-Hop, Pop, Gospel and Dance Hall (Reggae) music. As one of the only record labels in Texas to host and operate a Talent Search Tour and competitive Rap, Hip-Hop, Pop and R&B Showcase for Bad Boy South/Block Ent, company owned by Sean ‘P-Diddy’ Combs. We are paving the path for the future ambition of young artists and popular music. What better city to seed such a highly experienced team of talent, than our very own; Dallas the new music capital.

My Organization(s): D-TOWN RECORDS/EIEG GROUP is positioned to be an efficient profit oriented company that anticipates an impressive start during the first six months of operation. It fully expects to expand the visibility and exposure of its current projects. The aim is to cultivate, promote, and manage and distribute projects nationwide and internationally.
To achieve our objectives in each of the next three years, we are seeking a financial infusion that will help us achieve expected revenue goals through an aggressive marketing program already begun, continued artist development, and staffing.
CEO and founder Mr. Edwards is responsible for the management and strategic direction of the company. Under this leadership, DTR has experienced tremendous growth from its startup in building the strategic alliances and partnerships to ensure success. These alliances and partnerships consist of critical musical components as well as major distribution channels. It is through these partnerships that the company has been positioned to be a music industry leader in independent label arena.
